YEARS OF MISERY WITH ST. VITUS’. • Six Months in Hospital Failed to Cure. ♦ Nerves and Muscles Always Twitching—A Remarkable Cure by Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills. A prolonged an«l severe attack of St. Ait us’ Dance, lasting a number of years, and which resisted all medical treatment, was finally cured by Dr. Williams’ Fink I‘ills. The sufferer was Miss Hilda Farrer, of 3x, Dover Street. Richmond, Melbourne. St. Vitus* Dam-e is another nervous disease in which Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills have proved of great value. They supply the system with new blood, which feeds the starved, out-of-tone nerves, ami when the nerves are restored the complaint disappear*?. Miss Farrer gave the following account of her illness to a reporter: — ”1 got a fright when a child and I never got over it. The trembling set in and I suffered for years, only getting worse and worse all the time.. There wasn't a muscle or nerve that wasn't always on the go. My head would move and the eyebrows and mouth twitched eonyulsiyely. I simply could not hold anything in my hands. For a long time I had to-be fed like a child. I had to stop away from, school, for I got so excited ami irritable. For weeks at a time I could not dress myself or button anything. As I grew up I was little use in the house, for I could hatdly be trusted to do anything. Once I burned all m*y sleeve trying to light the tire. If I went to pick up anything I nearly always knocked something over. I would jump and start and tremble like a leaf at the least noise, ami break into tears at a chance hasty word. If 1 went for a walk my feet would twist all ways, and I was always grimacing. People would pity me. My case could not have been worse. I was just a bundle of nerves ami everyone of them askew. At last I was driven into town, we were living in the country then, and put in the hospital for more than six months; though 1 had every attention T had to leave as incurable. In the hospital I was put in a cot. ami even then sometimes strapped down, for I rolled out of an ordinary bed. One leg dragged after me when I walked, and often people could not make out what 1 was saying. I would stammer ami then stop, and then words came jumbling in a rush. I went on this way for years. Sometimes for a few weeks the attacks lessened, but never for any more than three weeks at a time, and then it was the same all over again. It was a fortunate day for me when I tried Dr. Williams* Pink Pills. From the first box I began to be built up. ami with three boxes it was clear to everyone that my nerves were getting stronger, for the twitching was much less, ami I could get some positive, control over the muscles, besides I felt brighter and stronger. The next three boxes quite cured me. The complaint disappeared out of my system and has never returned.” Dr. Williams’ Pink Pilis are sold by chemists and storekeepers, or sent by mail, post paid on receipt of price. 3/ per box, six boxes 16/6. by the Dr. Williams* Medicine Co.. of Australasia, Ltd., Wellington.
