A STATE DIPLOMA FOR HORTICULTURE.
An important statement was made by Mr Walter Run ciman. M.P.. in his speech at the jury's luncheon at the Royal International Horticultural Exhibition. The Minister for Agriculture advocated (and practically promised I a State diploma for horticulture in England, a hint that was heartily approved. The necessity for such a diploma has long been felt, ami never more so than at the present time.
