The photo shows the remarkable Walnsaro Pu-I’u Spring, at Tabaka. Nelson. The name means •'bubbling water." but is usually clipped by local people to Bn-bit or Pu-I m Tips is el-iimed to be the largest fresh cold-water spring known, tor every 24 hours it sends forth the almost incredible amount ol gallons. Jhe beautiful blue ■■reeii depths of the spring have never been sounded, so its depth and the origin of such an immense flow of water are unknown.
