February 12. Garden Party. A most successful garden party was given in the school grounds last Wednesday in honour of Air Massey, Aft- C. H. Wilson, and other members of the Reform party. On arrival at the grounds the party was received by Air. Boddie (Mayor), who cordially welcomed the visitors to Te Kuiti. During the afternoon tea and all manner of good things were served in a big marquee, tire table decorations being red, white and blue. Great credit is due te Alias Graham, the energetic secretary, who worked; so hard to make the afternoon- so successful. Mrs 0. H. Wilson, of Levin, Mrs ami Miss Ostler, of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs A. C. Johnston. Mrs. Hume and. Miss Little, of Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. Fiillerton. Mr. Bannister, who has been connected with the legal firm of Broadfoot and Finlay for some time past, is leaving shortly for Wairoa. (Hawke’s Bay),
