A. J. Watson, photo. SOME LOVELY SPECIMENS OF THE QUEEN OF FLOWERS FROM TE AROHA DOMAIN. The picture we published last week gave some idea of the effective changes that have been made in the grounds at Te Aroha. Here are a few blooms of the Queen of Flowers, of which there is such a splendid show during November and December. (1) Madame Vermorel, a large full coppery yellow tea, a splendid grower with beautiful foliage: on Florence Pemberton, a creamy white, suitable for the show and the garden: (3) J. B. Clark, a rich bright red, a very vigorous grower, suitable for large beds only, and should be pegged down to obtain the best results; (4) A pure white seedling, raised by the head-gardener, Mr H. W. Dalton.
