In purtourree of "The Licensing Act, 1908,” and toe Amendments thereto, 1, WILLIAM JOSEPH KING, Returning Officer for toe FRANKLIN LICENSING DISTRICT, do hereby give notice that on the Seventh- day <rt December, 1911, the duy appointed for taking the Electoral Poll for the Electoral; District of FRANKLIN, simultaneously therewith a Licensing Poll will be rakeiv rrpon- toe following propesafe:— I VOTE FOR CONTINUANCE. I VOTE FOR NO-LICENSE. And concurrently with- toe taking of the said Licensing Pott there will be submitted for the determination of the electors of the said Licensing District the question whether National Prohibition shall come into force throughout New Zealand. The question will be submitted tn the following form:— I VOTE AGAINST NATIONAL PROHIBITION. I VOTE FOB NATIONAL PROHIBITION. Nominations of persons to appoint Scrutineers in aeeordanco with "The Licensing Aet, 1908-,” and the Amendment* thereto must he lodged with me not Inter than 5 o’clock in toe afternoon of the 30th day of November, 1911. And I hereby give notice that I shall on five 2nd day of December, 1911, at the hour of 9 o’clock in the forenoon, at my office in Pukekohe, publicly consider all nomination-papers of persons to appoint Scrutineers which have been duly lodged in respect of the Licensing Poll for the saitf Lieensing District and in respect of the National Prohibition Poll.
