GISBORNE MAKES THE 16th A LABOUR DAY REJOICING.

Last Thursday (16th inst.), Gisborne cel brated Labour Day with a big procession, in which a large number of local firms and industries were represented. (1) Showing the procession passing down Gladstone iflad. (2) Prize-winners for the best desorated bicycle. Miss Bessie Higgins (on left and Miss Belle Pearce (on right) divided first prize, whilst Miss Ivy Parker and Miss Adelaide Fairlie tied for second place.
