WEST END OPEN THE ROWING SEASON ON THE WAITEMATA.
The Auckland West End Rowing Club opened the season on Saturday amid delightful weather, with trial fours, in which four heats participated. There was a fair assemblage of guests, and the afternoon passed over under happy and pleasant circumstances. (1) A group of some West 'End members. (2) Putting the boats down, (3) Watching the races. (4) The winners of the third heat and final—Cole (stroke).
