Out of his Place.

At the Swansea Quarter Sessions the other day, an amusing incident occurred which is probably unique of its kind. A man named Henry Graggs was indicted for stealing meat. When the ease came on for hearing, however, he was not io be found. His solicitor and other officials searched for him for some time in

vain. Then at last he was discovered among the grand jury, assisting them in their endeavours to find out whether the bill against him was a true one or not. He was at once removed to his proper position, and then explained that he had thought that all those gentlemen in the box were “accused” like himself, ami it is gratifying to know that, in spite of the doubtful compliment paid to their appearance, these good men ami true found him not guilty of the charge lodged against him.
