ROMULUS.

On behalf of the Management Committee Air D. M. Kean will move: "That after the 'words-'Honorary Sec retary’ in Rules 16, 18 ami 20 the words 'Honorary Match Secretary’ be inserted." 2. Mr Kean will move: "That a Metropolitan championship and handicap tournament be held on the Saturday afternoons preceding the Christmas and New Year holidays, and that the inter-club competitions be played after the New Year holidays.” In view of the attitude of the Brougham Hill and Victoria College Club) (which combined entered something like ten men's and six ladies’ teams for last year's competitions) to the new proposal, and reported in the account of their annual meetings appearing in this issue. “Romulus’’ wishes to particularly draw attention to the motion to be submitted. It will be seen that Mr Kean is moving in his private i-apaeity as a delegate and not on behalf of the Management Committee of the W.P.L.T.A.
