SEDDON.

September 20, Tennis Social. A most enjoyable social was held in the Seddon Hall on Friday evening in aid of the Tennis Club. Although the attendance was not large, those present thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The supper arrangements -were carried on by tlie lady members of the Club. Personal. Mrs. Trolove (“The Shades”) and her two daughters have gone to Wellington. Mr. and Miss Atkinson have gone to the North Island. Mr. J. Colley is visiting Blairich. Mr. G. Vavasour (Christchurch) is visiting her parents, “Ughbrooke.” Mr. H. Sharp passed through here on his way to Kaikoura. Mrs. Sharp is visiting her mother, Mrs. F. Foster. Miss Dickenson has returned home (“Clarence Bridge”). The Rev. Mr. Robb, who has been the guest of Mr. Gunn, has returned to Blenheim. Miss E. Gunn, who has -been the guest of Miss Urquhart (“Dumelog”), has returned home. Miss Daly (Richmond Brook) has gone on a visit to Wellington. GENEVIEVE.
