A large number of players took part in the bogey match for the monthly medal. The weather was favourable, and some good rounds were done. The competition was won by J. Howie, who, with a handicap of six, finished 2 up on the Colonel. G. M. Dodgshun (plus 2) maintained his consistent form by finishing 1 up. N» Bull (scr) finished up all 'square, and Barns-Graham (2) ended 2. down. All the players mentioned played good golf
