LEANING—TURNER.

U/ V LARGE gathering assembled at J I St. Paul’s Church, Auckland, .J on Wednesday, April 26th; to witness an extremely pretty Choral wedding, which was celebrated by the Rev. C. A. B. Watson. Mr. Harold Gregson officiated at the organ. The contracting parties were Miss Ada Turner, youngest daughter of Mrs. C. Collings, of Te Papapa, and Mr. Ernest Edwin Leaning. The bride looked charming in a beautiful gown of ivory silk poplin profusely trimmed with pearls nnd silk motifs, with wreath and veil. IShe carried an exquisite bouquet of dahlias, with finish of dainty chiffon leaves, and, in addition, wore the bridegroom's gift, turquoise ear-rings and pearl pendant. The bride was given away by Mr. J. W. Nairn. The bridesmaids in attendance were Miss Turner, only sister of the bride, and Miss Nairn, Wearing dainty white silk dresses and smart nattier blue hats, and carrying pretty pink bouquets. The two little 'nieces of the bridegroom—Gladys Leaning and Millie Ratcliffe—also followed the bride to the altar. They looked (Very sweet dressed in white embroidered muslin froeks, and carried dainty little posies. Mr. J. W. Leaning, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man, and Mr. A. Murray aeted as groomsman. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were gold bangles, set with amethysts, and pretty pearl brooches. After the ceremony, the wedding party were entertained by Mrs. J. W. Nairn.
