WHERE £60.000 IS TO BE SPENT IN WHARF CONSTRUCTION.
I'he population returns for Tieton show an increase of nearly 40 per cent, for the last five years. The growth of the town as a port has been the reason for the adoption of an extensive scheme of harbour improvements. To-day the Hon. .1. A. Miller is to drive the first pile of a new wharf, which is to be 618 feet in length, and will cost about £60,000.
