STROUTS—KR ULL * VERY pretty wedding was celeI brated at Christ Church, WanI ganui, on Wednesday, April 19th, when Miss Marguerita Kate (Greta) Krull, “Maramarania,” St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, was married to Mr. Charles McKellar Strouts, of the Bank of New South Wales, Wanganui. The Ven. Arch. Jacob officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of pale cream charmeuse with tunic of chiffon. The bodice had some lovely real lace on it over chiffon and the long square cut train was turned back at the corner and finished with a satin bow. She wore a veil with coronet of orange blossoms and carried an exquisite shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums, roses and maidenhair ferns. There were two bridesmaids, Miss Kathleen Thompson (niece of the bride) and Miss Nina Jackson, who wore smart short frocks of pale blue charmeuse with overskirts of pale blue chiffon finished with pale blue roses, composed of chiffon and connected with silver embroidery. The mob caps were of blue satin and touch of silver at the side. They carried sheaves of pale heliotrope chrysanthemums and ferns tied with heliotrope satin ribbons. There was one small bridesmaid, Mias Marjorie Saunders, who wore a dainty white spot muslin froek, threaded with white satin ribbons, and mob cap to match, with white satin rosettes, and carried a sheaf of white chrysanthemums. Mr Charles Wilson, of Rangitikei, was best man and Mr Fritz Krull groomsman. The bride’s gift to the bridegroom was a gold watch and the bridegroom’s to the bride an ivory prayer book and to the bridesmaids gold brooches set with pearls and turquoises. Mrs Krull wore a beautiful gown of blue grey silk with overskirt of chiffon and straps of the silk with buttons at intervals; the skirt and bodice had bands of oxidised silver trimming, blue grey bonnet with silver ornaments and satin strings. She carried a pretty shower bouquet of pink flowers with ribbon streamers to match. Mrs P. Krull wore an electric blue silk gown with wide band of gold thread embroidery edging the square cut yoke, blue velvet toque to match with gold ornament, at the side. Her shower bouquet was of pink chrysanthemums and pink ribbons. Mrs Mantell (Wellington) wore a stylish heliotrope gown with chiffon, velvet hat in heliotrope tones; Mrs Earle wore a black cashmere de soie embroidered in black silk, with black vest bordering the cream chiffon vest and embossed black silk lace, black velvet toque with gold embroidery and gold ornament; Mrs Dove, pale grey chiffon robe over silk the same shade, grey hat with pink flowers; Mrs Marsack (Auckland), black velvet robe with black silk braid and band of black silk low on the skirt, black beaver hat with high black satin bow and pale heliotrope chiffon shoulder scarf; Mrs Gill-Carey, electric blue hopsack coat and skirt with black satin revers, collar and cuffs edged with gold braid, black hat with wings and gold cord; Miss Christie wore a beautiful gown of cream silk with overskirt of chiffon, emerald green velvet hat faced with black velvet under the upturned brim; Miss G. Christie, navy blue serge coat and skirt with black silk military braid, black velvet toque; Mrs Izett, deep heliotrope silk robe with overskirt of heliotrope floral chiffon, black hat with plumes; Mrs Montgomerie wore a black velvet robe with lace, black and white bonnet.; Mrs A. Izard, most becoming fg£e grey ninon over charmeuse; with a deep braid of grey silk and silver embroidery on the skirt and bodice, black aealette stole, large black velvet hat with silver ornament at lhe side; Mrs E. Lewis, black crepe de chine robe with vest and sleeves of tucked net, fine black crinoline straw hat with plumes; Mrs Lomax, sky blue frock, with net, straw hat to match; Mrs IL Lethbridge, electlie blue hopsack coat and skirt, with gold braid, smart electric blue satin straw toque with blue ostrich feathers; Miss M. Lethbridge, cream serge Norfolk coat and skirt, white fur toque with pale blue silk rosettes at the sides, with dull silver ornaments in the middle; Mrs Janies Watt, pale grey chiffon over silk, with touch of green on the bodice and silver embroidery, green velvet toque with wings; Mrs. Good, sage green crepe de chine with wide baud of charmeuse at the foot and forming panels, black hat with black wings and gold ornaments; Mrs Fairbury, pale blue silk embroidered cashmere de soie gown, with vest and under sleeves of tucked chiffon the same tone, tunic aud skirt, and gold thread on the bodice, blue silk hat with large grey wings and gold ornament; Mrs Cameron, heliotrope striped tweed coat and skirt, lace shoulder scarf, black hat with feathers; Mrs 11. Wilson, dark tweed coat aud skirt., rose pink and black toque with wings; Mrs Moore, champagne shaded silk with tiny pink design, net vest, straw hat with green bird; Miss Moore, white embroidered muslin frock, black hat with aigrette at the side; Miss Imlay, beautiful black silk gown with lace, black hat with jet aud feathers; Mrs Sargeant, navy blue cloth coat and skirt, with oriental embroidery, black hat with electric blue wings; Miss Marshall, black crepe de chine gown, hobble skirt, caught at the foot with wide band of silk, cream straw hat with cream chiffon roses forming a wreath; Mrs Babbage, green cloth with green velvet, hat to match; Miss W. Anderson, grey tweed coat and skirt, smart hat of heliotrope beaver with grey wings.

The skirt was made with a tunic and bordered with fine blue silk braid In wide design,, the same on the bodice, vest of pink and blue floral chiffon, with under sleeves of the same, brown fur stole, pretty blue velvet toque, with dangling gold ornament at tlie side.
