The New Language.
Volapuk seems to have been ousted by its successor, Esperanto, which is making steady progress. There is a rival in the field, however, says the “ Liverpool Post,” which is the outcome of the entente cordial. It is named “ Anglofranco,” and the following is a specimen which, it is claimed, may be read with equal facility on either side of the Channel: —“In conclusion, permett me to dis that though many apparaiss veby that langage be special cre-ed for philologues and grammarians who decid its convenances they oubli that after all langage be sole langage in vertu of its pouvoir to communique the pensees of un to the intelligence of another.”
