J. Blakely, photo. OPENED TO THE PUBLIC.- A SEASIDE RESORT FOR WAIHI. The photo shows the Waihi beach, to which a new road has just been opened up, materially shortening the journey from the town. The beach is about four miles long, and is a favourite resort of picnickers and campers. In the photo, the smoke-stack of the Waihi Beach G.M. Company’s mine may be seen just appearing over the conical point, three-quarters of the way up the headland.
