SEDDON.
September 29. A Dance. The return dance to the ladies was held in the Town Hall on Friday evening, and proved a very great success. The hall was decorated with native greenery-, and the supper table was charmingly arranged with a profusion of spring flowers tastefully displayed. The supper itself left nothing to be desired, being dainty in the extreme. A Bazaar. The bazaar in aid of the Presbyterian Church, held in the hall on Wednesday, 28th, was a very great success; the stalls were attractively- arranged. Amongst those present 1 noticed: Mesdames Stace, Foster, Blick, Ward, Sharp, Findlayson, Fleming, Misses Foster (2), Gunn (2). Personal. Mr. Stace, on behalf of the settlers of Richmond Brook, presented Miss Ida Gunn with a very hs.nd.some token oV their esteem as a slight reeognitiln of ■her great services as organist of the Presbyterian Church for a number of Mr. P. Goulter (Blairich) is in Kaikoura. visiting his brother, Mr. H. Goulter. Moana Station. Mrs. McShane (Picton) is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Radcliff (Mt. William). Mrs. T. Hall (Blenheim) who has been spending some weeks with Mrs. S. Richmond (Richmond Brook), has returned home. Mrs. Riddle (Picton), who has been on a short holiday to her sister, Mrs. P. Irving, has returned home. Mrs. Vavasour (Ugbrooke) 'has returned from the Empk-e City. Mr. E. Weld (Flaxbourn) has been spending a few days in Blenheim. Miss Dora Redwood is the guest of Mrs. Vavasour (Vgbrooke). GENEVIEVE.
