MARSHALL—ANDERSON. N Tuesday, July 26th, a quiet, J very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. John’s Church, Wanganui, when Miss Helen (Anderson, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs James Anderson, Kaitoki, was married to Mr George Marshall, of Turakina. The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. Deane and Rev. .Jacob, The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very becoming cream charmeuse gown, with trained skirt, the bodice was made with a tucked crystalline yoke and beautiful lace; she wore a tulle veil caught with a coronet of orange blossom, and carried a lovely shower bouquet of ■white heath, snow drops, and ferns. Mr Dalrymple, of Kangitikei, was best man. The bridesmaids, Miss E. and G. Anderson, sisters of the bride, wore dainty ■white muslin frocks, with lace and insertion, white Leghorn hats, one having pale blue ribbons in it, and the other pale pink, with spray of pink flowers. They carried beautiful white shower bouquets, with sprays of ferns. Mrs James Anderson wore a handsome black silk robe with cream net and floral embroidery in pale pink shades, green straw 'hat, with chiffon and flowers. Amongst those present were Mrs White, Miss Jessie Marshall, Mr and Mrs Geo. Lethbridge (Hunterville), Mr and Mrs Izard, Mrs Montgomerie. Mr and Mrs R. Lethbridge (Turakina), Mr and Mrs H. larthbridge (Turakina), Mr and Mrs W. D. Anderson, Miss C. Anderson, Miss 11. Anderson, Miss M. Anderson, Mr and Mrs Palmer, Mr E. Anderson, Mr Mrs, and Miss Hole. Mrs Moore, Miss Moore,. Mr and Miss Dalrymple (Hulls), Mr and Mrs M. Marshall (Pahiatua), Miss D. Marshall (J’ahiatua), Mr Geo. Lethbridge (Turakina). Mr G. Palmer, Mr H. Anderson, Mr Nearne, and Mr E. Anderson (Kawhia). CHAMBERS- GEMMING. St. George's Church, Thames, was the scene of a quiet but popular wedding on Monday, July 18th. The contracting parties were Mr. T. H. Chambers, of Christchurch, and Miss A. C. Gemming, eldest daughter of Mr. E. Gemming, of Farawai, Thames. The bride, who was attired in a rich navy blue tailor-made costume, and white velvet hat, looked very dainty indeed, and the bridesmaid, Miss Nita Gemming, looked very winsome in vien.x rose dress and hat.
