The city presented the young monarch with one of the most elaborate and beautiful caskets that has eter been offered :n England to a v>i’ing Sovereign. It is one of the curious historic customs associated with the dignity and powers of the Iz»rd Mayor of l>mdon that the reigning monarch never visits the city in company with a Royal visitor.
