GARDEN PARTY AT "GREYSTONE KNOWE.”
week the Minister of Education (the Hon. Geo. Fowlds) and Mrs Fowlds gave a garden party at ••Greystone Knowe,” Mount Albert. Auckland. The guests were invited to meet the members of the Young Maori Party. Both the President (Mr A. Wilson, headmaster of St. Stephen’s Maori Boys’ College), and Dr. Buck. M.P. (Te Rangihiroai, secretary, spoke, outlining the scope ami ideals of the party, which, briefly, are to save the Maori race. Owing to the unexpected prolongation of the session, Mr Fowlds was unable to be present. The guests were received by Mrs Fowlds and Mr George Fowlds. jun. The photo, on the top right hand corner shows Dr. Buck speaking, with Mr A. Wilson on his right, and Mrs Fowlds in rear.
