Hastings racecourse was recently the scene of an elaborate floral fete in aid of the funds of the society for the Promotion of Health of Women and Children. (1) A special prize was awarded to Dr. Baceroft’s car, representing a "Pram of Plunket Babies" (the babies being the local doctors). (2) The second prize for a decorated motor car was awaided to -Mr F. H. Lawry, of Okawa. Poll and Rackham, photo.
