.1 he ladies of (he All Saints’ Ladies’ Guild, Palmerston North, wore responsible for a successful sale of work and poster and waxworks exhibition, which was opened last week by Iler Excellency Lady Plunket. The Guild is working to assist in the new church building fund, for whieh about Ctbino is required. Some £.3(i(io is in hand, and this was augmented by over CIGo, which was taken at the bazaar. (1) Mr. G. IL Beiaielt, poster. Father Christmas. (2) Messrs Clark and Thompson display, which won first prize for originality. Gh Mr W. Park’s poster exhibit. (4t Mr A. E. Clausen’s China exhibit. (5) Mr Scott’s paster, awarded second prize for originality. (B) A pretty design, which attracted much notice. (7) Palmerston North Gas Company, awarded second prize for (the most artistic exhibit. (S) Mr .1. p. Learv’s “Ohl English Costume.’’ (*.)) The third p; ize for the most artistic costume was awarded to the Red Bird Cycle Company.
