BUYING AUCKLAND CITY’S MEAT SUPPLY.
The large stockyards at Otahuhu, which have been constructed by some of the leading auctioneering firms in Auckland, were opened last week, when the first sale was held. There is accommodation in the yards for nearly 2000 fat cattle and a large number of sheep.' A feature is the large shelter shed, which will obviate the necessity for animals standing in the 'trucks for any length of time.
