Hawera, November 26. The Show. The weather was all that could be desired for the two days of the Egmont Show, although early on Thursday morning the day looked threatening; nevertheless people flocked into Hawera by' all trains. There were many pretty costumes worn. Among some I noticed present were: Mrs. Webster, in navy blue with long coat; black hat with black ostrich plumes; Mrs. Barton, grey coat and skirt, white straw hat with black velvet; Mrs. O. Hawken, navy blue costume, white hat with grapes and black velvet; Mrs. Nalder, dark grey tweed coat and skirt, green and black hat; Mrs. R. Mrs. T. Alexander (Wanganui) is paying a visit to Hawera. Mrs. Nicholas left this morning on a long visit to Nelson. Mrs. IT. Good (Stratford) is visiting relatives in Hawera. Mrs. Hamilton, from Opunake, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caplen.
