FEILDING.
November 20. Spring Show. The Horticultural Society held their Spring Show in the Drill Hall on Friday, 19th November. They had a beautiful day, and it was considered one of the best shows that has been held. A few among those I noticed there were: Mrs. Jacob (Kiwitea), fawn coat and skirt, black hat with black and white feathers; Mrs. Meryich, grey coat and skirt, black hat with feathers; Mrs. A. Fitzherbert, black and white linen coat and skirt, black hat; Mrs. S. Fitzherbert, heliotrope linen coat and skirt, green hat with roses; Mrs. Gillespie, dark blue coat and skirt, hat with red roses; Mrs. Monckton, brown dust coat with brown hat to match; Mrs. Mcßeth (Kimbolton), dark blue coat and skirt, hat with heliotrope roses; Mrs. Aylmer, brown coat and skirt with green hat; Mrs. Campbell (Wanganui), green coat and skirt, green hat to match; Mrs. Wooll&ms, dark blue coat and skirt, brown hat with pink roses. Personal. Mrs. Campbell (Wanganui) is staying with Mrs. Aylmer. Mrs. Waldegrave (Wellington) is staying with her daughter, Mrs. S. Fitzherbert. Miss Liversey (Christchurch) is staying w’ith her brother, Dr. Liversey. Invitations have been issued for Miss Luxmoorc’s wedding, which is to take place on Thursday, 10th December.
