The engagement is announced of Miss Rita Moritzson, of Dunedin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Moritzson, formerly of Auckland, to Mr. Allan, also of Dunedin. The engagement is announced of Miss Olive Rita Cargo, eldest daughter of the late James Cargo, of East Tamaki and Ponsonby, to Mr. J. Dunne, Sylvia Hill, Penrose. The engagement is announced of Miss Laura Halstead, youngest daughter of Mr. E. D. Halstead, Auckland, to Mr. Sidney Hawbottom, of Waikino. The engagement is announced of Miss M. Izard (Christchurch) to Mr. Fred. Pculton (Southland). A most popular engagement is that of Miss Anna Minnitt, youngest daughter of Mrs. Minnitt (Auckland), and granddaughter of the late Sir Frederick Whitaker, to Mr. B. M. Woolcombc, of the Eastern Cable Extension Company, Singapore. The wedding is to take place early in January next at Rotorua, from the residence of Miss Minnitt's brother-in-law, Mr. R, W. Dyer, S.M.
