Secretaries of ladies’ golf clubs are invited to forward official notices, handicaps and alterations, results of competi Pions, and other matters of interest, to reach the publishing office not later than the Saturday prior to date of publication. Otago Senior Medal. The following were among the best cards handed in for the Otago Ladies’ Golf Club’s senior gold medal on the 2nd inst.:—

The Medal Competition, put down for the 6th inst., on the St. Clair Links, has been postponed till the 13th. New Plymouth. The golf season at Inglewood was brought to a close last week, when the finals for the championship and Dr. Gault’s gold medal were played by the men. The following are the particulars: »—President's Gold Medal: Ladies—Mrs Bennett, 132 (6) beat Mrs Mathews, 136 (scratch). Men —Thomson, 112 |l3), 100, beat Rev. Thomas, 120 (4), 116. Championship: Ladies—Mrs Mathews beat Mrs Gault, 7up and 5. Men—Law beat Bev. Thomas, 4 up ana 3.
