McCusker, photo. OPENING THE NEW WAIRAU FERRY BRIDGE. The new Waitau Ferry Bridge, at Spring Creek, Marlborough, was opened recently. The bridge, which is supported on massive concrete piers, is 472 feet in length, and includes five 80 feet spans. The engineer was Mr. J. E. Fulton, M. Inst., C.E., and the contractors, Messrs McWilliams and Andrews, Wellington.
