STURDY DEFENDERS OF MAORILAND— THE DOMINION SCOUTS.

All the men who have enlisted in the recently formed corps of Dominion Scouts at Wellington, have seen active service- 14 in the Imperial army, and 23 in the Colonial forces during the Boer war. Quarter Master Sergeant Tester was one of the originators of the corps which its the first uf its kind in the Dominion. Reading from the left in the Front Row: Bugler Iliekling. Sergt. McDonald.
