September IL An At Home. -a. very pleasant “At Home” was given last Tuesday evening in St. Mary’s Hall by the Vicar and Mrs. Evans to the church workers of the parish. In the Theatre Royal last Thursday evening the North Taranaki huntsmen gave a most enjoyable ball, and, having been so successful, it was decided to make it an annual affair. Gray gave a very pleasant bridge party last Friday evening in honour of her guest, Miss Kerr (Wanganui), and the prizes were won by Miss Standish and Mr. A. Bewley.
