HAWERA, June 25. Dance. Mrs. Moore gave* a most enjoyable euchre party and dance at her residence, “ Adbury,” last Thursday night, in honour of her guests, the Misses Hadfield (Wanganui) Amongst those present * were, Mr. and Mrs. B. Lysaght, Mr. and Mrs. H. Lysaght, Misses Lysaght, Hadfield (2), Turnbull, Brett (2), Glenn, Douglas, Messrs. Chettle, Chalmers, Treweek, Douglas, Wigley (Timaru). Golf. The ladies’ competition button was won this week by Miss Douglas. In a mixed foursome competition Miss Q. Glenn and Mr. R F. Page proved the winners, doing the nine holes in 51. Personal. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson (Waiuku) are the guests of Mrs. Good. Misses Hadfield (Wanganui) are staying with Miss Lysaght (Mokoia). Mr. Wigley (Timaru) is visiting his aunt, Mrs. F. E. Moore. Mrs. Graves is spending some weeks in New Plymouth. JOAN.
