READY FOR LAUNCHING. The Fisher non-sinkable lifeboat on board the Government steamer Tutanekai, Wellington, before being tested. The passengers, just about to embark, are: — Mrs. Fisher, Master Fisher. Mrs. Bransgrove. Mr. J. W. Davis and Mr. Higgins, all of whom had faith enough in the invention not to mind being suddenly dumped into the ocean. Needless to say, they were none the worse for their novel experience. A portrait of the inventor (Mr. Harry Fisher, of Wellington) is inset.
