WELLINGTON V. H.M.S. CHALLENGER.
A match between tin* representatives of 11.M.5. ( hallenger and the Wellington ( lull, under Australian rules, was played at the Basin Reserve on Saturday week. I he bluejackets commenced vigorously, but tin* superior condition of the local team was too much for them, and the match ended in favour of Wellington by 6G points (!) goals 12 behinds) to 47 points (7 goals, 5 behinds.
An interesting gal liming took place at the Hotel Windsor, Wellington.
