NEW PLYMOUTH.
March 20. Personal Items. Dr. Trilby King, of Sunnyside Asylum, 3 imam is at present on a visit to New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. D. Morrison (New Plymouth/ left last week on a visit to Filmland. Mr. Addison, of Westport, succeeded Mr. G. Findlay, of the Magistrate’s Court, New Plymouth. Miss K. Ilamerton, who has been visiting her relatives in Inglewood, has returned to New Plymouth. Mr. .1. S. Pipe, of the Magistrate’s Court, New Plymouth, has been appointed Clerk of the Court at Eltliam. Mr. A. J. Johnston, accountant, of the New Plymouth Post < >flice, has been appointed postmaster at Naseby. Miss Brewster, who has been visiting her cousin, Airs. (Dr.) Christie, Wanganui, returned to her home in New Plymouth last week. Mr. J. Simpson, Commissioner of Crown Lands, New Plymouth, is on a visit to Rotorua. Miss G. Colson, who has been visiting Christchurch and Wellington, returned to New Plymouth this week. Di. Carbery (Stratford) was on a short visit to New Plymouth last week. -Ir. Stewart (Stratford) is visiting his daughter, Mis. Claude Weston, New Plymouth. Judge and Mrs. Chapman are at present visiting New Plymouth. Mrs. F. Hume, who was the guest of Airs. Henry Weston (New Plymouth), has returned to her home in Wellington. Dr. and Mrs. Home, who have* been on a visit to England, arrived a. Auckland by the Manuka, but will not return to New Plymouth for a few weeks. Mr. D. Banks, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court, Haw era, has resigned his ■position, and intend.-* practising law at Hastings. Mr. Mason, of Stratford, will succeed Mr. Banks. Mr. Victor Fitzherbert, of New Plymouth. left last week to join a Government survey. Mr. and Mrs. Parsons, of Shanghai, have been visiting the former’s sister, Mrs. J. Paton (New Plymouth), but have now left for China.
