ST. PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION IN AUCKLAND.
St. Patrick’* Dav wa* celebrated in Auckland on Wednesday last by the Roman Catholic Clergy and laity. A very large procession of children was marshalled at the Grey Statue in the morning, and marched through Queen street. They were then transported to the North Shore where the remainder of the day was passed with athletic sports, which included a Marathon Race. 1 Marshalling the procession at the Grey Statue. 2. 5. and 6.
