SCULLING.
The Championship *of the World. According to a cablegram received from Sydney on Monday, Edward Durnan', a well-known Canadian sculler, is anxious to meet R. Arnst, the world's champion sculler, ami Jias offered to pay £2OO towards the champion’s expenses. Durnan it will be remembered, attempted unsuccessfully some time ago to wrest the world’s championship from Geo. Towns, when it was held by that well-known sculler.
