Good results are reported from the use of nitrobacterine upon sweet peas in England, the treatment hastening the growth and maturity of the ptants by weeks over those not so treated. Nodoubt the same results will be gained with ordinary field l Peas and garden varieties.
According to Mr. Manifold, Victoria, sea-sand is useful as a mechanical divider of the soil. He has carted hundreds of draytoads of sea-sand for his garden, aJid found that the soil was now infinitely more productive.
