Dear Bee, . July 25. Another- of Miss Bedford’s CINDERELLA DANCES took place last Friday. Mrs. W. Wood, as usual, played excellent music, and the supper table was prettily arranged with liowls of scarlet camellias. Capel, heliotrope floral muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes laee;• Mis Hunter (Hamilton), cream striped point d’esprit over yellow silk, yellow silk folded Empire sash; Miss Kirton, cream muslin; Miss S. Kirton, white silk, pale blue flowers in coiffure; Mrs Oswin, cream satin, scarlet rose in corsage; Miss O. Mackay, pretty pink coral silk muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes laee; Miss Saunders, cornflower blue silk, pale pink folded silk belt; Mrs H. Stocker, white silk; Miss M. Kirk, cream voile trimmed with silk laee; Miss MeAllum, cream silk kimono, l>odice outlined with orange silk; Miss E. MeAllum, black frilled net; Mrs Rollo, black silk kimono bodice over cream lace blouse; Miss Leatham, cream crepe de chine over glace deeolletage outlined with silk lace, full skirt with silk band on hem; Mrs G. Kebbell, dainty blue floral silk muslin; Miss Carte, cream tucked and insertioned silk, turquoise blue ribbon "threaded through coiffure; Miss Taylor (Cambridge), very pretty frock of cream tinselled net over glace, finished with silver sequined designs on deeolletage and skirt; Miss • Kerr, blue floral muslin, finished with Valenciennes lace, pale blue ribbon threaded through eoiffure; Mrs Penn, rose-pink silk trimmed with moss-green ■ velvet; Miss Penn, pale pink muslin, trimmed with VCalenciennes lace; Miss - Colson, turquoise blue silk; Mrs Hannah, cream silk, tucked and finished with frills of lace on corsage; Mrs. McDonald; rose-pink silk. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mrs A. D. Gray, New Plymouth, is on a visit to her relatives in Auckland. ' Miss King, New Plymouth, has gone to Timaru to attend her cousin’s (Miss Marchant’s) wedding. Miss Standish, New Plymouth, is visiting her many friends in Dunedin. ■ Miss Q. Glenn has been visiting Miss Bayley, New Plymouth, but has now returned to Hawera. Mr and Mrs C. L. Mac Diarmid paid a short visit to New Plymouth last week, but have now returned to Hamilton.
