Capel, heliotrope floral muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes laee;• Mis Hunter (Hamilton), cream striped point d’esprit over yellow silk, yellow silk folded Empire sash; Miss Kirton, cream muslin; Miss S. Kirton, white silk, pale blue flowers in coiffure; Mrs Oswin, cream satin, scarlet rose in corsage; Miss O. Mackay, pretty pink coral silk muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes laee; Miss Saunders, cornflower blue silk, pale pink folded silk belt; Mrs H. Stocker, white silk; Miss M. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mrs A. D. Gray, New Plymouth, is on a visit to her relatives in Auckland. ' Miss King, New Plymouth, has gone to Timaru to attend her cousin’s (Miss Marchant’s) wedding. Miss Standish, New Plymouth, is visiting her many friends in Dunedin. ■ Miss Q. Glenn has been visiting Miss Bayley, New Plymouth, but has now returned to Hawera. Mr and Mrs C. L. Mac Diarmid paid a short visit to New Plymouth last week, but have now returned to Hamilton.
