WELLINGTON BAKERS ON STRIKE.
There has been an unwelcome interruption in the supply of the stair of life at Wellington, owing to a difference between the men and the employers, over the demand of the former for shorter hours and more wages. Our photograph is of the head of a procession arranged to emphasise the employees’ side of the question; and in front, wearing the light overcoat, is Mr. Toni Mann, socialist, etc.
