Hie pupils and teachers of the Mount |<den Public School, and a number of parents, and old pupils assembled at the school last week and made a presentation to the popular head-master. Mr. A. Hosking. to mark the completion of twenty-live years service, during which he has taught school at Penzance, London, Manchester. Exeter, Northampton, Melbourne, Adelaide, Pukekohe and Auckland. The presentation was made by Miss Doris (laze, the senior pupil of the school, who handed to Mr. Hoskin a handsome gold watch.
