• Mr W. A. D. Banks, clerk of the Court, has been transferred to Christchurch, and before leaving was presented with a case oP dessert knives and forks, Mr T. S. WeUton making the presentation. Mr J. Terry, of the S.M. Court, Blenheim, has been appointed to succeed Mr Banks in New Plymouth. Miss Rennell, who has been on a short visit to Wanganui, has returned to New Plymouth.
