LOYAL CHIEFS THANK THE GOVERNMENT FOR DINIZULU’S TRIAL.
Two hundred chiefs of the Indaba and Ukandhla tribes have thanked the Government for Dinizulu’s removal, remarking that now there was no fear of assassination, and they were able to sleep with their doors open. They hoped that Dinizulu would never be readmitted, since he was sure to cause trouble. The Natal Government contradicts Mr. Jellieoe’s statement that he was denied reasonable facilities for defending Dinizulu.
