The engagement is announced of Miss Phyllis Barnicoat, youngest daughter of Mr W. H. Barnicoat, of Wanganui, to Mr Eric Riddiford, son of Mr Edward Riddiford. of the Hutt, Wellington. The engagement is announced between Mr. H. T. Gillies, solicitor, Hamilton, and Miss Celia McLernon, daughter of Mr. S. McLernon, of Napier. We also have to announce the.engagement between Mr. Hamilton Hunter, land a,gent, Napier, to Miss Louie Balharry, also of Napier.
