Miss Izard (Christchurch) is visiting friends in Napier. Mr. and Mrs. Powrie have returned to Christchurch from their visit to Wellington. Mrs. Beswiek and the lion. 11. F. Wigrain, and Mrs. Wigram (Christchurch) have gone to Mount Cook. Mrs. Frank Perry (Hawke’s Bay) and her children are spending a few weeks at Sumner. Mrs. Chaffey (Culverden) is staying with Mrs. Wardrop, in Hereford-street, Christchurch. Miss llelmore and the Misses Moors (Christchurch) have returned from Timaru. Mrs. and Miss Elworthy (Christchurch) left, for the South last week. After a few weeks spent among friends in Timaru they purpose going for an extended tour in Europe.
