AUCKLAND PROVINCE. Colonel and Mrs. Porter (Heather Lea, Gisborne) are on a visit to the Wairoa Mrs. and the Misses Nolan (Gisborne) are visiting friends in Auckland. Mrs. C. P. Davis and the Misses Davis (Gisborne) have returned home. Mrs. Ogden and the Misses Marsh (Southport, England) arc the guests of Mrs. Willoek (Gisborne). Major and Mrs Pitt (Auckland) are at present staying with friends in Gisborne. Mr. C. J. Parr and Mrs. Parr have returned to Auckland after a pleasant six weeks’ sojourn in Queensland. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Airey, who have been residents of Herne Bay for some time, have removed to Wellington, where they intend to reside for six months before settling finally in Napier or Nelson. HAWKE’S BAY PROVINCE. Miss Williams has returned to Napier from a visti to Wellington. Miss Cohen, of Napier, is on a visit to the South. Mrs. Smith has returned to Dunedin from Napier. Miss Humphries, of Christchurch, is spending a week in Hastings. Mrs. Bidwell, of the Wairarapa, is in Napier for a week. WELLINGTON PROVINCE. Mrs Abbot (Wanganui) is paying a short visit to Wellington. Dr. Hendry has returned South after a stay in Wellington. Miss Lorimer (Nelson) is spending two or three weeks in Wellington. Mr C. A. Richardson is back in Wellington after a visit to Australia. The Rev. J. C. Andrew and Mrs Andrew (Otaki) are making a stay in Wellington.

Mr and Mr, Earle (Wellington) have gone to Melbourne for a trip. Miss Shand, of Dunedin, is staying in Wanganui with friends. Mrs. McKnight and children (Palmerston) are visiting Wellington. Mrs. Tripe (Palmerston) is staying with friends in Wellington. Mrs. and Miss Reed (Palmerston) have returned from Dunedin. Mr. and Mrs. Rennell (Palmerston) have gone to Feilding for a month. Mrs. I’’. R. Robinson (Palmerston) has returned from Hawke’s Bay. Miss Butts (Wellington) is paying a short visit to Napier. Mrs. and Miss Moore, of Wanganui, have gone to Wellington for a week. Miss Fraser, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. S. Izard, in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Pratt, of Wanganui left last week for Christchurch, where they intend to reside. Mr. and Mrs. Broad, of Marton, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. Moore, in Wanganui. Mrs Pomare is returning to Wellington after a stay of two or three months in the North. Mrs D. McKay and Miss McKay (Wellington) have gone to Melbourne for a visit of some weeks. Miss Stafford (Wellington) is in Palmerston competing at the Manswatu Ladies’ Golf Tournament. Mr and Mrs J. C. Chaytor arc back at "Marchlands,” Blenheim, after a trip to Auckland nnd Rotorua. M'jss Helmore (Christehimeh) is in Wellington staying with Mrs Waterfield. Mrs Cowper returned to Hawke’s Bay last week after a abort stay in Wellington.

Dr. and Mrs Pickerill, who intend to settle in Dunedin, are to arrive this week in the Corintbic. Miss Stanford, of New Plymouth, is staying in Wanganui with Mrs. Stanford. Miss O. Stanford and Miss G. Stanford, of Wanganui, are the guests of Eheir sister, Mrs. Russell, in New Plymouth. Mrs. Carew, of Dunedin, who has been staying in Wanganui with her sister, Mrs. Russell, in New Plymouth. Miss Stanford, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. Stanford, in Wanganui. Mrs Walter Nathan and the Misses Nathan, who have been away in Sydney for a month or so, arc back in Wellington again. Miss Aspinall, who has been visiting her sister (Mrs. D. Reid. Palmerston) for some time, has returned home to Dun edin. Mrs. Carew, of Dunedin, who has been staying in Wanganui with her sister, Mrs. J. Stevenson, has returned to her home. SOUTH ISLAND. Miss Helmore has returned to Christchurch from her visit to Wellington. Mrs. and Miss Pitman have returned to Christchurch, after spending the winter in Sydney. Mrs. and Miss Gerard and Miss Ncave who went on the Island trip, returned to Christchurch last week. Miss Mackenzie (Wellington) is staying with Mrs. Nicols at Papanui, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. J. Studholme (Palmerston North), are spending a short time in Christchurch prior to leaving for England. Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Stead and Miss Stead are expected t< eturn to Christchurch from England about the end of this month. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rhodes and family (Christchurch) have returned from their visit to Queensland, where they spent the winter. Dr. Bradshaw, organist of Christchurch Cathedral, who has been engaged to open the new organ of Napier Cathedral, intends en route to give two r&eitals on the Town Hall organ in Wellington. .
