GISBORNE.

Dear Bee, .April 20 I have very little for you this week. We have been very quiet in little Gisborne lately, even outdoor amusements being absolutely impossible, as the weather for the last fortnight has been abominable. Tenuis is quite over, and golf opens to-morrow, but if the weather be as unpleasant as it is to-day there will be little chance of playing the opening matches. However, I suppose we must not growl, as we cannot expect to be without rain for ever. Airs. Jex Blake’s dance is to-night, and we are all looking forward to it very much.

ELSA.
