PRESENTATION OF A SILVER CRADLE T THE MAYORESS. Last week, the Auckland City Councillors kept up an interesting old eustom. and presented Mrs Arthur M. Myers with a silver cradle to commnemorate the birth of her son during her husband's term of office as Mayor. The cradle, which is under the glass case, is a beautiful piece of work, ami was made by Mr A. Kohn. Queen-Ostreet, Auckland.
