The marriage of Air. Arthur J. Hewson, eldest son of the late Captain J. C. Hewson, to Alisa Ethelinda Forbes, ' only daughter of Air. G. A. Forbes, Ponsonby, was quietly solemnised in All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby, on Wednesday, April 3rd, by the Ven. Archdeacon (‘lililer. The bride, "who was givehjvway by her father, Was very prettily attired in cream serge with cream chenille hat to match. She was attended by her cousin, Bliss'Reekie and Miss Gertie Hewson (sister of the bridegroom), who were both very prettily dressed .jn cream silk voile, with heliotrope hats and shower boquets of heliotrope ami white. Air. George Hewson (brother of the bridegroom) was best man, and Air. A. Gouk was groomsman. The bride was the recipient of many handsome and useful presents.
