Mr J. Burns has returned to Auckland after a pleasant trip to New Plymouth. Air H. S. Elliott has been appointed Town Clerk of Hawera. Mrs W. D. Webster, who lias been the guest of Mrs Tanscy. of Taihape, lias returned home to New Plymouth. Air Day. stationmaster of Hawera, has received notice of transfer to Giiborne. Dr. and Mrs Walker, who have been on a visit to Auckland, and Botorua, have returned to New Plymouth. Aliss L. Webster, who has been on a visit to Wellington, has returned to New Ply moot h. Miss V. Simpson lias ret iirned to New Plymouth after her pleasant trip to Napier. Miss G. Kebbell. who has liven the guest of her sister, Mrs Rankin, of Wanganui, has returned to New Plymouth. Aliss Whiteombe, who has been visiting Mrs Kerr, of New Plymouth, lias returned to her home ih Christ church. The Rev. Air J. A. Jacob and Mrs Jaeob, of Hawera. leave shortly for a trip to the Old Country. Mr E. Craig, who lias been relieving Air .1. Paton, manager of New Zealand Insurance Co., New Plymouth, has re turned to Auckland. Mr G. H. Morgan. Mrs Morgan, and children have returned home to New Plymouth after their pleasant trip to Tasmania. Rev. Mr Larkins and Miss Larkins, who have for several months past resided in New Plymouth, have returned to Auckland. Mr J. Baton and Mrs Paton have returned to New Plymouth after their very pleasant, trip to Cliristehurch and the southern lakes. Mr and Mrs Maeklow. who have been on a visit, to their relatives in New Ply mouth, have returned i.u their home in Auckland.
